Digital radio manufacturer Pure has unveiled two new additions to its line-up.
The Pure Move T4 is a pocket-sized digital radio with a Bluetooth speaker built-in. Pure says the radio is engineered to “perfection using specially sourced materials”. A powerful 4W RMS internal speaker can be used to listen to FM and DAB/DAB+ digital radio stations, as well as Bluetooth audio from a smartphone or tablet.
The built-in battery should last for up to 22 hours with earphones, making it suitable for travel. The rechargeable battery should provide 15 hours of listening via the speaker.
Presets can be set for radio stations. Up to 20 presets can be set, with direct access on the front panel for four. A fold-out kickstand is included on the rear of the radio. The full colour display seen on other recent Pure radios is also used for programme information.
The smaller Move R3 is a personal DAB/DAB+/FM digital radio, joining the Move 2520 in the range.
Pure have included earphones with the Move R3 which also act as the aerial, although users can use their own earphones.
The rechargeable battery provides up to 15 hours of listening per charge. A 1.6″ OLED display is behind a tempered glass screen front to protect against scratches.
Both of the new models are available in black or white. The Move T4 is on sale for £99.99 while the Move R3 is priced at £89.99.
Pure designs and engineers its digital radios in the UK and has sold more than five million units worldwide.
