Comedian Ellie Taylor and author Anna Whitehouse have teamed up to host a new Sunday night show on Heart.
The pair hosted their first show on Sunday. The new programme sees Ellie and Anna chatting about sex and relationships, as well as what’s been happening in their worlds that week.
Ellie Taylor is a comedian, actor, writer and presenter. Since presenting Snog Marry Avoid? on BBC Three and appearing on panel shows and Live at The Apollo, Ellie has become a star of the BBC show The Mash Report. Her ‘Message From Women Everywhere’ sketch went viral earlier this year with more than 60 million views.
Last year Ellie guest hosted Heart breakfast in London with Jamie Theakston while Emma Bunton was away filming in the US.
Anna Whitehouse is a journalist, author, blogger and founder of Mother Pukka. Her blog is an irreverent take on modern parenting and her book ‘Parenting the Sh*t Out of Life’ became a Sunday Times best-seller.
Ellie Taylor said: “I’m chuffed to be working with Heart on such an exciting show with my fearless and funny work wife, Anna. We can’t wait to get stuck in, plus it’s just nice to get out the house on a Sunday.”
Anna Whitehouse said: “Expect everything from awkward breakup stories and dodgy sex noises to controversial dishwasher stacking. With a dollop of grotty laughter and, hopefully, some listeners willing to share a tale or two in the mix.”
James Rea, managing editor of Heart, said: “Ellie and Anna will bring a fresh new energy to Sunday nights with what promises to be a straight-talking and entertaining appointment to listen. This is something brand new for Heart as we continue to evolve our weekend schedule.”
The new programme can be heard on Heart, Sundays between 10pm and 1am. Heart is available across the UK on DAB digital radio, on Sky, Freesat, Freeview and 96 – 107 FM. The station is also available in the Radioplayer and Heart apps, at heart.co.uk and via smart speaker.
