Comedian, author and writer Jon Holmes has been announced as the new host of Xfm’s breakfast show in London from Monday morning.
Previously hosting Saturday morning’s on BBC Radio 6 Music, the Sony award winner is also part of BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show, has been heard on BBC Radio 2 and co-created Radio 4 comedy Dead Ringers.
Xfm say the new breakfast show will bring “the biggest and best new music alongside stellar celebrity interviews and Jon’s trademark off-the-wall features”. At 6 Music these included Ken Bruce Master, Toddler Pops, Band I Found On Myspace Or…, The Old Gay Whistle Test and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell for the Radio.
Xfm has always been the go-to station for enormous indie music, funny, irreverent broadcasting and the best ballsy entertainment on the radio.

The Xfm breakfast show broadcasts every weekday morning from 6am to 10am.
Xfm is available on DAB in London and parts of the UK on local DAB digital radio, as well as Sky, Freesat and cable.
