Singer and presenter Michael Ball will return to BBC Radio 2 later this January with a brand new show, airing every Sunday from 7pm.
Starting on Sunday, 20th January, the programme will look back at “decades of music and memories” with the audience.
I am so delighted to be back on Radio 2 with a brand new show. I want to share with listeners my love of music regardless of its age, genre and style. I just want it to be entertaining.

In other changes to the Sunday schedule, the Sunday Half Hour becomes The Sunday Hour and moves to 6am. Clare Balding will host Good Morning Sunday for the first time from 7am to 9am.
“Michael has the capacity to span a broad musical repertoire from classic light music to the greats from the American Songbook. Michael is a familiar and well-loved voice to the Radio 2 audience and, between him, Diane Louise Jordan and Clare Balding, the day will begin and end with some wonderful weekend treats,” explains Bob Shennan, Controller of Radio 2.
