Music fans not heading to Worthy Farm for the weekend can keep up with Glastonbury 2016 on digital radio.
More than 60 hours of coverage will be hosted by BBC Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra, Radio 2, 6 Music and Radio 4. Sets from headline acts Coldplay and Adele can be heard on BBC Radio 2 with Jeff Lynne’s ELO taking up the Sunday legends set.
Musicians PJ Harvey, Beck, Muse and Underworld will be featured on BBC Radio 6 Music. An essential mix from Annie Mac, Four Tet and Julio Bashmore is set for Radio 1.
Jo Whiley and Dermot O’Leary are live backstage at the festival on Saturday from 4pm on BBC Radio 2. After a break for Paul Gambaccini the live music continues when Trevor Nelson introduces Adele’s headline set on the Pyramid stage.
Coverage resumes on Sunday when Jo and Dermot present live highlights from the festival at 4pm, with Coldplay’s headline set from 9pm on Radio 2.
Annie Mac is backstage on Friday night, with a four hour Radio 1 Essential Mix starting at midnight. Alice Levine and Huw Stephens bring live coverage to listeners on Saturday.
Meanwhile on BBC Radio 6 Music there’s live performances from Muse, Last Shadow Puppets, New Order, Beck, PJ Harvey, LCD Soundsystem and Jake Bugg. During the night the digital radio station will also broadcast highlights of performances from previous Glastonbury years and documentaries covering some of the other artists at the festival.

The festival will also be shown on BBC television with highlights of TV and radio coverage also available on BBC iPlayer.
