The Euro 2016 football tournament starts today and listeners will be able to follow England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the other 21 teams on digital radio.
Between talkSPORT and its new sport station talkSPORT 2 every game can be heard live. The new digital radio station will see the pair broadcast more than 400 hours of coverage from France.
Footballers including Stan Collymore, former England captain Stuart Pearce MBE, Joey Barton and David Ginola will bring their personalities to “spirited debate” on talkSPORT’s coverage. They’ll be joined by pundits Keith Gillespie, Danny Gabbidon and Matt Holland. Each of the European footballers will be focusing on the Northern Ireland, Wales and Republic of Ireland sides respectively.
Breakfast host Alan Brazil and mid-morning presenter Colin Murray will take their shows to France, with Hawksbee and Jacobs hosting their first live game on 18th June when Belgium take on the Republic of Ireland.

BBC Radio 5 live’s coverage of the tournament also features former players including Chris Waddle, Danny Mills, Neil Lennon, Robbie Savage, Kevin Kilbane, Mark Lawrenson and Pat Nevin. The coverage will be hosted by Mark Chapman and Kelly Cates with Caroline Barker and Dan Walker.
The BBC Radio 5 live team will also bring interviews and reaction from the home nations camps. Leading the commentary is John Murray, joined by Alan Green, Ian Dennis, Conor McNamara, Alistair Bruce-Ball and Ian Brown.
Listeners will be able to have their say on the matches on 606 with Kelly Cates. The station will also be creating a daily podcast with a round-up of all the action.
Extensive coverage of the Wales and Northern Ireland teams will be provided by BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru. BBC Radio Ulster will host a phone-in after all three group games and their commentary will also be available on TV via the red button.
“UEFA Euro 2016 is going to be the biggest yet and football fans in the UK are in for a real treat, with more home countries playing than ever before,” said Stuart Pearce.
“Wales and Northern Ireland are through for the first time, the Republic of Ireland is back and, dare I say it, I’ve got high hopes for England. If that’s not a reason to listen to talkSPORT, I don’t know what is!”
