The RF-D10EB-K is the only portable digital radio in Panasonic’s current range, but packs many features. A large 10cm full-range speaker provides high quality sound. The sound can be customised with a built-in EQ which offers Flat, Heavy, Soft, Clear and Vocal presets. The inclusion of a five preset EQ is something not seen on many digital radios.
The generously sized display includes a white back-light to make viewing easier. The large typeface, clock and signal strength meter make the Panasonic RF-D10EB-K’s display one of the best on any digital radio.
Practical design for easy operation
The ease-of-use continues with clear power and preset buttons on top of the radio and a fold out carry handle. Two knobs are found on the side of the radio, with the top one controlling volume. The bottom tune/select knob is used for browsing the radio station list.
Placing the Autotune button below the display is also useful and saves searching for this function in menu systems.
The radio can be powered from mains or batteries, with the latter offering up to 33 hours of operation.
