Can I buy a fascia for a touch screen to fit a 2014 Peugeot 2008?

A fascia adapter is essential when replacing a factory-fit stereo with an aftermarket radio. The fascia provides a suitably sized slot for the new stereo’s mounting bracket to secure to.
Unfortunately we can’t find a fascia which would be suitable for the Peugeot 2008. The catalogues and websites of fascia and wiring adapter suppliers break down the parts which are available by make, model and year. The websites for suppliers like Autoleads and Connects2 do not appear to have a suitable fascia for the 2008.
However, there does appear to be a product from Pioneer which could be suitable. The Pioneer SPH-EVO62DAB-208 is custom designed for the Peugeot dashboard, so that it fits without a fascia. The device has DAB/DAB+ reception, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity. According to the Pioneer website it is even a Digital Radio Tick Mark approved product.
The slot in the dashboard looks to be smaller than a double-DIN slot. This would be required in order to replace the touchscreen with most new double-DIN units with a touch screen. Alpine offers the iLX-F903D which is a touchscreen model with DAB/DAB+, but that also fits into a single-DIN slot. However, some sort of fascia would be required.
It may be worth speaking to an audio installation professional about the Pioneer model and see if they can advise further. We’re not sure how the normal process we outline on the website for replacing a factory fit radio would work with the Peugeot’s dashboard.
Options for DAB digital radio in the Peugeot 2008
It appears from a 2015 brochure for the Peugeot that DAB digital radio was included as standard on 2008 models with the Active trim level and above. Models with the Access A/C trim level came with “Radio / CD player with steering column mounted controls” and “3.5mm Jack for external audio device”.
An in-car digital radio adapter like the Pure Highway or Majority Journey A10 could be suitable. Using the 3.5mm jack aux input will provide better audio quality than transmitting on an FM frequency to the original radio.
